Open in June 2023, Sea Lanes Brighton has transformed the former Peter Pan site on Madeira Drive, Brighton.
At the heart of Sea Lanes is a 50m, 6 lane accessible outdoor swimming pool, operated by South Downs Leisure. The pool is supported by 19 local fitness, health and wellbeing, food, and beverage businesses.
Previously, Brighton had just 44% of Sport England’s recommended swimming pool provision in ageing facilities, Sea Lanes met this need.
Sea Lanes Brighton is an integral part of the Brighton and Hove community, made up of businesses and individuals that are passionate about open water swimming.
They include Brighton based swim coach Andy White, Copsemill Properties, QED Sustainable Urban Developments and SwimTrek.
We pledge for every new Sea Lanes member to plant a tree in example locations of Madagascar, Peru and Uganda providing vital habitat for local biodiversity, and supporting the lives of local people.
