Sea Lanes enabling local business growth

The Sea Lanes team are delighted to announce a deal has been reached with SwimTrek to be the first tenant at the former Peter Pan site on Madeira Drive!

The deal, which is subject to planning consent, will see SwimTrek move their headquarters from Hove Street to Sea Lanes. The move to Madeira Drive will enable SwimTrek - the world’s leading adventure swimming holiday company and the winners of the 2017 Queens’ Award for Enterprise - to continue its impressive growth and team expansion in an appropriate new setting, right by the sea.

The Sea Lanes proposed plans, which are currently being reviewed by Brighton and Hove Council Planning Committee are due for determination in October. The plans are centred around a 25m open air, heated swimming pool providing much needed swimming facilities in Brighton. The pool, which will be accessible to all, will act as a gateway for those looking to gain confidence in sea swimming as well as a training hub for open water swimming events, triathlon, sea safety and lifeguard courses.

The plans also include 39 business units suitable for retail, health and fitness, office space as well as a food court with street food kiosks and a seating area. Sea Lanes would like to enable local business growth and are encouraging businesses to take up these units.
