Bison Beer host a pop-up bar at Sea Lanes Brighton and together in 2019 we launched ‘keep cups’. The ‘keep cups’ help reduce single use plastic and raise money and awareness for the Save Madeira Terrace restoration fund.

UK designed and manufactured; the ‘keep cups’ are made from recycled food grade stainless steel. Six hundred cups have been sold raising £300 and Sea Lanes Brighton matched the donation raising it to £600.

Our signature beer, See Side APA, was brewed to be enjoyed besides the seaside so it brings us great pleasure to see so many people enjoying it at Sea Lanes. Not only does it taste so much better out of a reusable keep cup but it also helps stop the use of plastic and raise much needed funds for the continued redevelopment of the area. We are passionate about Brighton seafront and anything we can everything do to help create a brighter future here is a big win for us as a local, independent business.

Save Madeira Terrace is a campaign to help the people of Brighton restore the iconic arches of the historical structure that is Madeira Terrace to its former glory, creating a new lively community quarter.

This is just absolutely amazing of the Sea Lanes & the Bison Bar to present us with this cheque! We are over the moon – £600 is a fab boost to our funds. We’d like to give a big thank-you to Sea Lanes & Bison Bar for thinking of this excellent idea of keep cups and for their love of our incredible Madeira Terraces.

Due to Government guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic ‘keep cups’ have not been available throughout Summer 2020, but will be back in circulation as soon as the restrictions are lifted.
