• Small business units under construction and set to be completed in Autumn 2022
  • 50m open air swimming pool to begin construction in October 2022
  • Pool set to open Spring 2023

Work has begun on the National Open Water Swimming Centre of Excellence by Sea Lanes Brighton.  Construction began last week on the small business units which will see 24 businesses housed in the complex which supports the 50m Open Water Swimming Pool.

The retail units are suitable for health and fitness and will also include a food court with an outdoor seating area. Leading adventure swimming holiday company SwimTrek has already committed to house its headquarters in the complex.

There are just a few business units still available to let, and Sea Lanes Brighton are keen to find a sports retailer and a nutritionist to complement the pool and other businesses already on board.

Joe McNulty, Sea Lanes Brighton Director, explains:

It’s great to have begun work on the small business units and we are looking forward to welcoming businesses to their new homes in the Autumn.

“Work on the pool begins in October after the Volks Railway has closed for the season.  We are aiming for a Spring 2023 opening of the pool which will complete the National Open Water Swimming Centre.

“We want to thank everyone for their continued support for Sea Lanes and we look forward to welcoming you all as soon as work is completed.
