Team Domenica, the event organiser and local charity would like to thank each and every swimmer that went to Great Lengths, challenged themselves, and raised money to help young people with learning disabilities – their candidates – to find paid employment and reach their full potential. Team Domenica would also like to thank all the volunteers and staff for their efforts in making this event a success, and our venue partners Sea Lanes Brighton and South Downs Leisure.
It was a fantastic turnout from candidates, parents, staff and members of the public, who drew together to challenge themselves in, and out, of the water. The result was a fun day with a great atmosphere, and many moving moments. Between them, 52 participants and 20 volunteers have raised over £26,000 so far, with donations still rolling in! A huge thanks to all of those who have pulled together to make this event a success.
